Book into Tambolaka Airport (TMC) in Southwest Sumba and out of Waingapu Airport (WGP) in East Sumba - two separate tickets, because the trip ends on the opposite side of the island from where it starts.
- Pickup is between 11.00 and 12.00 WITA on day one, at the airport or a hotel nearby.
- The trip finishes at 11.00 WITA on the last day at Waingapu.
- Come a day early if you can. If you must arrive on the day, take a flight that lands before 12.00 noon.
- Fly home a day later if you can. The itinerary cannot be adjusted to fit a flight time.
