Weekuri Lagoon is a natural saltwater lagoon in West Sumba, filled by the Indian Ocean through underwater fissures and a small rocky channel, so it sits bright and almost waveless behind the coral rock.
- It is a tidal lagoon, not a freshwater crater lake - level and colour change through the day.
- At lower to mid tide in the morning the sun reaches the white sand below, which is the blue-green most photographs show.
- Edges are a mix of sharp coral rock, sandy shallows, steps and platforms.
- Visited with Mandorak Beach on the same morning.

Village roads with a final unsealed section that turns muddy after heavy rain.
